Selling books is every author’s dream. Connecticut Book Festivals holds this as our first core
principles. We are dedicated to finding creative and orignal ways of helping authors sell more
book and further their careers.
Being an author doesn’t have to be a road of solitude. Connecticut Book Festivals is proud to
bring authors together to network and hopeful find lifelong friendships. Building a strong author
community is our second core principle.
Meeting fellow authors, readers, others related to the book industry, and venue owners, should be
exciting. Creating a positive experience and having fun is our third core principle.

We are an author-run organization dedicated to finding quality venues throughout the state for our Connecticut-based author members. We are committed to not charging our authors for participating in the book signing events. We will continue to search for find creative ways for our members to sells their creative works.
How We Work
We are working hard to compile Connecticut’s most complete list of authors. Every day, we try to add new authors. We then try to book author-signing events in different counties. Selling books in your backyard where you’re best known is always a plus. Authors in those counties get the first choice, and participation is open to the rest.

We Are All Creatives!
It’s our calling to make the world colorful and stand out! We can use you help. If you know of a venue, let us know, and we will be glad to go and vet it. We could also use volunteers who are willing to do this on a regular basis. The more book signings we have the more opportunities we have to sell books. Let us know if you can pitch in!
