About Us:
Connecticut Book Festivals
We are an author-run organization dedicated to finding quality venues throughout the state for our Connecticut-based author members. We are committed to not charging our authors for participating in the book signing events. We will continue to search for find creative ways for our members to sells their creative works.
Past Events:
Westbrook Outlets June 8, 2024
Over fifty Connecticut authors participated in this book signing event along with a Father’s Day barbeque.
Rose Vineyards and Winery July 20, 2024
Twenty-one Connecticut authors were paired with wines and mingled with patrons of the winery speaking about their books and wine.
Norwalk Community Arts and Culture Day August 24, 2024
Almost forty authors took part in this event. A fifteen year old author signed his debut book.
……How We Work:
We are working hard to compile Connecticut’s most complete list of authors. Every day, we try to add new authors. We then try to book author-signing events in different counties. Selling books in your backyard where you’re best known is always a plus. Authors in those counties get the first choice, and participation is open to the rest.

Letting readers hear your voice is an important part of the book industry. We want our authors to have every chance they can to get in front of their audience. So Send in A Blog. It’s our plan to post two to four author blogs a month on our blog page. Click the button below to submit your blog.
……Online Book Club Database:
We want to give Connecticut authors the opportunity to sell their books without leaving their living room. We are arranging agreements with online book clubs to allow them to choose from our book database. If you want to participate, click the button and fill out the information.
We Are All Creatives!
It’s our calling to make the world colorful and stand out! We can use you help. If you know of a venue, let us know, and we will be glad to go and vet it. We could also use volunteers who are willing to do this on a regular basis. The more book signings we have the more opportunities we have to sell books. Let us know if you can pitch in!
